America the Beautiful

The writers of American history have all too often only seen it fit to tell America's story from one particular vantage point, while barely skimming over others. The problem then presents itself where this particular view is not the sole and therefore true representation of America, today. When written in 1787, the Constitution of the United States had no intended benefit for those Americans, who at the time were considered only 3/5 human. Obviously, at its current position, amendments have been made to this book of bylaws upon which this great nation was founded, but there are still today many people in positions of power, including leaders in congress, our police forces and random community members across America, who still hold on to archaic and outdated views where there is little place for Blacks in America, besides maybe for labor.... These individuals/ entities have been able to continue this unfounded ideology in their minds, while outwardly portraying the image of upstanding citizens who truly believe in equality and the welfare of ALL Americans; up to now that is.

Here in America, there are certain ideas that exist with the majority, and anything that goes against that ideology is frowned upon in their eyes. That includes racial equalities such as power and status, and are only deemed fit for that majority, again, in their eyes. There was NEVER supposed to have been a Black president; not in their lifetimes at least. So knowing this, we need to wake up and identify the problem, as that is the first step to acknowledging that one exists in the first place. You have to know what the problem is to be able to fix it!!! We need to wake up and finally identify what the founding system of labor was in the US and the devastating effects that it’s had on Black people in this country. And when I say “they”, I don’t speak of White people, but primarily a people in the majority power structure over the country.

Will this type of transition happen in my lifetime, where race is no longer a relevant topic? I doubt it, but it only makes sense for me to actually play my part in the solution, regardlessAnd I apologize or not, for being so boisterous, but I just like dealing with reality. Basically to me, everything we are seeing now as they relate to racial tensions across America is a direct result of Slavery and America's non-attention to its everlasting effects that plague the Black community today. This dirty little secret was destined to reveal itself and now that it has, people are being exposed for their true values..... Good night
